The Consell Comarcal del Pallars Jussà (Pallars Jussà District Council) has taken a significant step towards a more sustainable future with the incorporation of its first electric waste collection vehicle, an OHM model supplied by the Ecotruck Rent dealership in Zaragoza.

With a range of more than 200 kilometres, this innovative vehicle will be used for the selective collection of paper and cardboard in urban commercial areas. Thanks to its small size and quiet electric motor, it will facilitate access to narrow streets and significantly reduce pollutant and noise emissions, thus improving the quality of life of residents.

During the presentation, the president of the Consell Comarcal, Ramon Jordana, highlighted the county's commitment to sustainability and efficiency in waste management.
